What are OSHA Training Institute Education Centers (OTIEC)?

OTIECs are a national network of non-profit organizations authorized by OSHA to deliver occupational safety & health training to public and private sector workers, supervisors, and employers on behalf of OSHA.

Who is Mid-South OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC)?

Mid-South OTIEC is a consortium between Alliance Safety Council and Louisiana State University’s (LSU) College of Engineering that was established to deliver quality OSHA training in Region 6.

Region 6 of the Department of Labor consist of a 5 state region, including; Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico & Arkansas.

Can I take the OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Outreach through an OTIEC?

OSHA 10 & 30 Outreach courses are not available through the OTIEC program. Visit for trainers in your area.  Or contact us and we will help you locate a trainer if necessary.
